The volume control attenuators shall be the
J.W. Davis Model AT-20 and AT-40 having a 20/40 watt power rating on 25V
or 70V speaker line outputs. The unit shall have ten attenuation
positions plus off with 3dB attenuation per step and a total of 30dB
attenuation. The effective frequency range shall be 40 Hz to
20,000 Hz ± 1dB with an insertion loss of .4dB. The dimensions of
the unit with its front plate and depth shall be 4.5" H x 2.75" W x
2.25" d with a weight of 0.72 lbs. The front plate of the unit
shall be constructed of white ABS molded plastic or stainless steel and
will fit in a single gang electrical box. The knob for the white
plastic plate shall be white and the stainless steel knob shall be
black. The autotransformer shall have stop detents for the off
position and the tenth attenuation position.
