The
cost-effective DS8M-ST Series flush mounting ceiling speaker systems are
designed to meet industry standards for paging and background music
applications in commercial, industrial and institutional
installations. The speaker grille is heavy gauge steel finished with
non-reflective white powder-coated epoxy paint. Hidden metal speaker
studs enhance appearance and ensure tight speaker mounting. The
8" twin-cone, 5 ounce magnet speaker efficiently (95dB SPL @ 1w1m)
provides clean voice reproduction and bass response. Dual
transformer permits use in both 25-volt and 70-volt line systems.
The DS8M-ST/VC includes an almost invisible recessed volume control that
limits unwanted tampering but is easily adjusted using a small
screwdriver.
