The
J.W. Davis DH Series "folded" horns are designed to provide
intelligible voice paging and signaling in high noise environments while
according the maximum coverage possible. In addition to the 70V, 25V
and 8 Ohm taps, four additional taps are available to control volume
levels in quieter conditions. For general reference, Table
1 shows the maximum recommended coverage distances and suggested level
settings required to achieve sufficient volume to be clearly heard over
existing background noise.

Caution: All "folded or
"reentrant" horns are exponential trumpets with drivers that are
engineered for voice reproduction. Attempting to add bass by raising
the amplifier bass control may result in overloading and driver diaphragm.
