TECH TIP #11:
Using Multiple Outputs on
Amplifier
|
Use only ONE of the the speaker outputs on amplifier.
Never connect multiple speaker lines to the same
amplifier (4, 8, 16-ohm, 25, and 70.7-volt). The
effect is combining low and high impedance loads in a
parallel circuit which causes an unstable condition,
thereby resulting in amplifier overload, and damaging the
amplifier. Installer,
and end-user, be advised warranty will be void if
amplifier is found to have failed due to misuse. |
